EDH - How to Beat Bant?

So I was running deck:dominus-3 for a while and I recently went up against two of my friends who have (and I do not use this phrase loosely) near-unbreakable Bant combo decks. They focus on recursion and infinite mana with PalinchronMTG Card: Palinchron, control, and overall one of the strongest, most consistent architecture I've ever seen in EDH.

I made a revised list, deck:dominus-dreambreaker-edition to try to answer the problem (I'd like to fit Sadistic SacramentMTG Card: Sadistic Sacrament in there), but I'm thinking of building an additional deck. What are your thoughts? How do you destroy a strategy like this consistently and efficiently?

first suggestion kill them IRL :-) but in all seriousness what generals do they play? my pals and I tend to not play control cuz its so douchey but i do have a mono blue one for special occasions lol. what kind of control is it? is it literally spamming counters and o rings and pacifisms with uber artifact/enchantment hate or is there something I am missing with it being bant specific? i run Sadistic SacramentMTG Card: Sadistic Sacrament and it literally shuts a deck down so definitely run it! please see the blue sister to it known as Denying WindMTG Card: Denying Wind too! I think i will have useful suggestions though once I understand their tactics better. If all else fails just kick them in the junk and run!

ExtractMTG Card: Extract will shut the combo out hide//seek will too (but wrong colours I know :-() a wizard deck around Supreme InquisitorMTG Card: Supreme Inquisitor is nice too! as well as using something like BriberyMTG Card: Bribery to rob it first or Time StopMTG Card: Time Stop that bitch outa existance. This is just to help against that combo of course

as well as the black obvious ones Cranial ExtractionMTG Card: Cranial Extraction and the like. just make a deck that rips theirs apart lol teach them to play control in a casual fun format haha. a nice card to anti their control is Boseiju, Who Shelters AllMTG Card: Boseiju, Who Shelters All along with Expedition MapMTG Card: Expedition Map and Sylvan ScryingMTG Card: Sylvan Scrying to find it

I spent my English class recreating a close approximation of the deck(s) in question. deck:bant-your-deck-is-invalid-1

I modified my modification of my BUG deck to be more control-oriented (again). Hopefully with the changes it will stand up to Bant.

I actually quite enjoy the challenge of playing against decks that powerful. It's what I want from an EDH game - a power struggle (BUG/Esper player here).

Maybe some Time WarpMTG Card: Time Warp effects? I'm sure these would be extremely advantageous especially if you loop them. You could even combo them out with Eternal WitnessMTG Card: Eternal Witness/Mnemonic WallMTG Card: Mnemonic Wall and Crystal ShardMTG Card: Crystal Shard. Also, have you thought about using Knowledge ExploitationMTG Card: Knowledge Exploitation? Try taking their Time StretchMTG Card: Time Stretch and using Chancellor of the SpiresMTG Card: Chancellor of the Spires afterwards :D

That deck does look harsh, plenty of artifact and enchantment destruction should probs be up there as high priority as i wouldnt like to see any o them stick! make a land destruction deck lol that could work! it is fun playing against a power deck but only if you have the right kind of deck to put up a fight! if someone cracked out a control deck against my dragon deck id like headbut!! u win the magic game but now ur bleeding! :-) i highly suggest the use of things like Vexing ShusherMTG Card: Vexing Shusher and Boseiju, Who Shelters AllMTG Card: Boseiju, Who Shelters All, Gaea's HeraldMTG Card: Gaea's Herald, Leyline of LifeforceMTG Card: Leyline of Lifeforce or just hard up harsh creatures with it built in like Gaea's RevengeMTG Card: Gaea's Revenge etc. bar running your own counters and twincasts i suppose this is the only way around them
