I've never played Commander and with the new Commander 2015 decks now out, I thought that might be a good place to start but I don't know what deck to buy. I looked all over the internet and haven't found what people think is the "best" one. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. However, I would like to hear what you guys think about the C15 decks, the Commander format, or whatever else you think might be useful. Thanks for all of the advice!

Personally, I think these are some of the best precons WotC has ever made. As far as what's best, I would have to say pick a legendary you want to build around or a color pair you like.

They are all playable, and quite balanced between themselves. But really the "best" one is the one that fits your playstyle the best. Do you like sacrificing creatures? Then Meren of Clan Nel Toth is the best for you. You like Instants and Sorceries? Then Mizzix of the Izmagnus is the gal for the job. Do you like Enchantments? Go grab Daxos the Returned. How about making a huge unblockable threat? See whether Ezuri, Claw of Progress is your guy. Want to beat face like no one else before? Then Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas will crash into the red zone for ya.

Well, they all play well out of the box, but the Golgari one is the best out of the box (matched only by the Izzet deck), but if you like a deck, just buy one and play. You don't need to fine tune a deck to atomic levels to play the format. :)

Don't pick the best one. Get the one you like the most.

I agree with TheDevicer...other than casual, EDH is one of the few "fun" formats still in the game. I enjoy competitive play, but EDH is something that can be highly competitive and incredibly odd at the same time. You will see combos you've never heard of or thought about. You'll build a deck, play it 100 times, and then one random game you get a combination that is just insane you never knew about. This is by far my favorite format. Just enjoy it. Pick what makes you happy.

Well, there's that, but also the fact that any one of those decks can be tuned to be perfectly fine at low- to mid-level play given that you know what you're doing.

I bought the UG Ezuri, Claw of Progress and immediately swithed out about 12 cards, and took it to A casual game day at my LGS, and it went 2-0, mostly due to Sage of Hours and recursion of Eternal Witness and Verdant Confluence, plus card draw of Fathom Mage, with added life gain of Horizon Chimera, then there was the synergy of Hangarback Walker with Vorel of the Hull Clade

please see my current deck list;

I am also planning on making an "Upgraded" version of all C15 precons and am planning on posting them here. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
