Breya vs Silas

So I desperately want to build a redsper(?) artifact deck. Smashing Daretti, Savant in with Sharuum the Hegemon and Sydri, Galvanic Genius? Yes please!

But my question: Which is better, Breya, Etherium Shaper, or Silas Renn, Seeker Adept paired with Akiri, Line-Slinger. In fact, theres even an argument for Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder instead of Akiri for that double strike and double Silas triggers. Which is better? I enjoy the playstyle of Daretti, but they both involve sacrificing/reanimating.

I think the partner generals are pretty weak imo, silas needs to connect and its worse than returning it to your hand and forces you to cast it that turn. Akiri is more voltron. Breya is extremely powerful, has tons of utility, and can win with infinite mana

I was wondering the exact same thing myself and realized it really depends on what kind of deck you want to play. I feel like silas and akiri are better together if you're going for mainly aggro with artifact support and breya is better for mainly artifacts and combos with aggro as a backup.

For example, I was thinking of going for voltron style akiri with some combos silas as backup to get my equipment and combo pieces back. Instead, I think I'm going to build Breya as mainly a combo and token deck with a few cards like mirror entity to buff my creatures so I can turn the large amounts of mana I aim to produce into power.

Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder is decent commander alone and a good partner. Silas Renn, Seeker Adept and Akiri, Line-Slinger are weak.

IMHO Breya, Etherium Shaper is just no.1 artifact commander in MTG universe and top10 of all known commanders.

I'm building Grixis artifacts w Silas and Kraum, Ludevic's Opus. I like Silas a lot better because he gives recursion to the artifacts in your graveyard. Breya may be a combo peice, but Silas recurs combo pieces. I like Silas better.

I'd say if you want to run Daretti, Scrap Savant AND Sharuum the Hegemon, Breya is your better choice. She is an artifact sacrifice outlet you always have access to, barring some very specific hate like Nevermore. Two mana does cost a bit to activate this multiple times, so I would recommend Training Grounds to a least get it down to one. If you plan on including training grounds, I would recommend Ethersworn Adjudicator, as it becomes WBU: Destroy target creature or enchantment: Untap Ethersworn Adjudicator.

Another card I've been impressed with in mono Daretti that would be amazing here is Pentavus, since you just turn its counters into artifact creatures to fuel Breya or Daretti

Heartstone too, it is an artifact, useful for what you are trying to do and brings the cost down to 1 as well.
