Black/White Commander Suggestions

my fiance wants to build a White/Black Commander Deck; I would like some suggestions for a commander for the deck. What do you guys think about Athreos God Of Passage as a Commander
I'm playing Daxos the Returned currently. It's really fun.

I'm building a Selenia, Dark Angel based around Mirror Universe, Lich, Barren Glory, Near-Death Experience, Soul Conduit, Triskaidekaphobia, Repay in Kind and more. Will it win? Rarely if ever, but when it does win... OH WHEN IT DOES WIN, IT WILL BE EPIC.

Teysa, Orzhov Scion can be really fun. You don't have to build her combo - I have seen really effective reanimator builds with her.

It depends on what you want to do with the deck. My brother made a very strong Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter deck but it'd be a very different list from Athreos, God of Passage. I think Athreos is a perfectly fine commander if the deck is built for him.

He's good for a Tax deck and a sacrifice deck.
Karlov of the Ghost Council is good, Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim is good. Those would be my choices.
Teysa is a combo machine, if you want to go combo route.
