Best Commanders for Out-of-color-pie strategies?

So, for something like Grixis aggro or Selesnya control, what commanders would you recommend? Strategies that you wouldn't usually apply to the colors using them. Just for fun.

I play Marchesa, the Black Rose as a resilient grixis aggro commander and use self life drain effects to keep myself off the throne. Here's my current deck list Marchesa, the Black Rose.

I'm doing the same commander too! I like the card and how it's works!

I built a counterspell control deck helmed by Zurgo Helmsmasher a while back.

I feel like Queen Marchesa, Mathas, Fiend Seeker, and Tariel, Reckoner of Souls are a bit out of the norm for their colors. The rest of the mardu commanders need to be aggressive to use the whole card these ones don't.

Gaddock Teeg is probably the master of selesnya control. I think Karametra, God of Harvests, Selvala, Explorer Returned, and Captain Sisay can be part of solid control strategies. I would mostly expect them to work with hatebears which is not that uncommon in those colors.

Wort, the Raidmother is quite the oddball encouraging spellslinger builds in gruul of all places. Double Hurricane to have all the funz! Rosheen Meanderer usually built with hydras but X spells like Fireball are good too.

There are a few oddballs in almost every combination of colors.

I'm working on Toshiro Umezawa as a mono-black spellslinger deck. I'm playing mostly rituals and kill spells (don't get as many cool cantrips as Blue does), but it's still pretty cool.

There's a variety of ways to control the game through expensive artifacts, colorless spells, and removal creatures in mono green, so Azusa, Dosan, Masumaro, Nissa, Polukranos, Thrun, and Yisan are all good mono green control generals, through various methods. I think that Azusa is the best overall, but Yisan has so many cool toolbox type tricks that it's impossible to leave him out.

Speaking of Yisan, you can actually pull off absolutely ridiculous combos with him, including a hermit druid combo if you're playing enough terrible lands to dump your entire deck into your graveyard.

Other interesting options are mono red control, (Using Jaya, Godo, red Akroma, or any number of other weird big options) mono blue Tribal Tribal using Mistform Ultimus, or even a red deck that can WIN, using Kiki-Jiki or Purphoros.

I'm currently brewing on Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist and i'm sure she can do great as a control-ish, pillow fort-ish deck with stuff like Glare of Subdual, Holdout Settlement and Survivors' Encampment.

Tagging on the last comment, Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist can be a great selesnya control deck. Glare of Subdual works great. I built her as a hatebear commander and it works pretty well so far. Lots of small hatebears but even they can be scary when you can only block one.

Lock the game down with hatebears, slow attacks coming at you with Mirri, then eventually close out the game with something like Beastmaster Ascension or even Crescendo of War (Ive been trying to fit Crescendo into a deck forever now and Mirri seems like the best fit, since only you get the blocking buff and opponents can only send one thing at you)
