Hello Fellow T/O Memembers!

This is Coinman1863 here announcing the Spring Tourney for the competitiveEDH Subreddit and Tappedout!

Insert collective rejoicing from the subreddit and T/O here

We will have sign ups for two weeks from the posting date of this post. You will sign up by PMing me with your list which you intend to use. This is because we want to ensure that everyone uses the same list throughout the tourney. I will be bowing out of the tourney so I can manage the decklists and ensure that everyone is playing fairly. I would prefer a tappedout link because I can keep track of them easier in that format.

The tourney format will be a modified round robin. The number of rounds will be decided by the number of players in the tourney. Each round will be a week so the pods have time to organize and figure out a time which works for everyone. Each week, I will post the pairings in a subreddit post tagging all appropriate parties. Results will only be reported as who won and who lost, no middle ground, to me via Reddit, Discord PM, or T/O chat. Only one person has to report for each pod.

After the rounds are done, we will cut to the top sixteen. All of the top sixteen lists will be released after the tourney is finished. The top four pods will be single elimination and randomly assigned. The winners of those pods will then move on to the finals where prizes will be awarded as follows. Five Feature Tokens to the winner, and one to each of the losers.

What are feature tokens you ask? They are the tokens which you can use on Tappedout, the deckhosting site, to put your deck in the banner portion of the website. These are valued at $5 US each.

We will be using this banlist, no sideboards, and Vancouver Mulligans.

Pods will be done on whatever platform you prefer, however Cockatrice would be preferred for accessibility reasons.

If you have any questions about anything in the tourney, please ask here or PM me. I will be glad to answer any and all questions.

Hope you all have fun in the tourney!
