Because I'm sure you, like me, would enjoy watching a video more than reading a few paragraphs, here's my advice in video form:

Mind if I get a write-up of it? I dislike videos.

If you're doing a write-up for SynergyBuild, would you mind doing so here, as opposed to in a chat? I generally prefer to read over watching videos (frankly, I don't watch any videos), but would be curious to see your thoughts if you're already writing them down for one person.

cdkime Oh, sure! I figured people wanting to just read it would click to read the transcript on YouTube (the three dots above the description, then click "open transcript"). Especially since this might be more easily explained through video than through text, BUT I'll give it my best shot :D

But here you go!

Makes sense to me, and is in line with what I do as well. Personally, I sort by CMC within the different categories as well, as I find that makes culling high-cost, low-reward/situational cards a lot easier.

I find working out a theme. Then sticking to it, and if it's too broad, relook at the theme and narrow it down.
