Advice about building a new deck?

So recently, I downloaded Magic Online in order to record games and post them to YouTube, and I started playing commander with my four-ticket deck Play Commander for Four Tickets?!, but I haven't been winning all that much. Now it might be bad luck on my part (I am notoriously unlucky), it might be bad matchups (I only played on Saturday, which I've heard is the day that the more competitive group plays), or it might be the fact that a four-ticket deck simply can't be built to do well in a metagame filled with Oloros, Animars, and Aleshas.
My question is this:
In order to play a deck that is successful, entertaining to watch, AND inexpensive, what are some archetypes you recommend? Is this deck good enough, or should I build something else, like mono green rampy, elfball, Voltron, or something else? Any advice much appreciated. :)

1v1 primarily, because I agree that a deck built for multiplayer can't hold up against many 1v1 decks, but vice versa... I'd say it is very doable.

You'll have to lower your curves; trim off all the fat. Increase the card draw and seek out that low cost interaction. Unfortunately all of that comes at a high price. You might be able to find a middle ground where you obtain a few high quality cards but not many.

I think that's a great idea! Unfortunately, my most expensive cars costs a minimum of 6 mana, and lots of people would say curving out at 6 too low. Anyways, what 5-6 drops should I replace?

Add more cantrips, take out some non-instant and sorceries, suddenly profit.
Trust me. I have seen it done.
Primary win con is Psychic Spiral. Secondary is many many drakes!

Is it multiplayer or 1v1?
Edit: Because the two are super different.
A lot of multiplayer commander decks (besides being illegal in 1v1) just can't stand up to the speed.
