1v1 Commander deck (or Duel/French EDH) : help?

Hi there guys,
it's been a while since my first EDH deck went out,and now I am in a little trouble and I'd like to be helped by people more experienced of me : I want to create a good 1v1 Commander deck,but I don't know where to begin :(
First of all,I'll tell you what kind of General I'd like to use :
- I'm a player that like pissing out opponents,maybe using Wrath of God ,Obliterate ,Blood Moon ,Gilt-Leaf Archdruid and so on;
- I'm pretty a defensive player too : I prefer to stay in defense instead of wildly attacking every turn with all I got until my ary (composed by creatures or other permanents) is invincible (more or less);
- I hate massive aggro decks,that bases their strength on the only use of Overrun ,Overwhelming Stampede and so on as closers. I feel like they're suited for mad people (no offense xP);
- I insanely like have cards advantage. I insanely like drawing them,that's it.
- I like alternative winning conditions aside the loss of life too,for example milling opponent's deck (I guess that's impossible,since we're talking about an EDH one) or using troll cards like Phage the Untouchable or Near-Death Experience ;
- Since we're talking about a 1v1 Commander deck,I never say no to card discarders like Blightning ,Consult the Necrosages ,Duress etc.

Such a deck is also more viable when its strategy isn't being outraced by Sol Ring s and Mana Crypt s.

I really like the way cards like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV ,card:War's Toll and Stranglehold works,and I'm pretty tempted to use them in a deck... still I don't know what kind of general is better to use,in those cases... my recent idea was a land-destroyer deck with massive nonland removals (so I suppose it would be a B/R one). Any ideas about whose creature to use?

I personally hate French rules, but I'll still help you with this.
I've often thought of building an American or 4-color countercontrol/countercombo deck. Cards like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV , card:War's Toll, Mana Web , Aven Mindcensor , Stranglehold , Obliterate , Armageddon , Blood Moon , Magus of the Moon , and various control elements would combine well in a trolling deck. It also doesn't really sound too different from the kind of deck you want to build.
