Win condition

Commander Deck Help forum

Thrasios, Triton Hero

Derevi, Empyrial Tactician

Jodah, Archmage Eternal

Thinking about building a new deck and I really love theses 3 but I have no ideas what could be a good win condition.

If anyone could show me 1 or 2 win con with each general it would be awesome.

For Jodah I think Omniscience Can be a key card if you can dig through your deck with cards like Conflux. When Jodah is here, you can cast Razaketh, the Foulblooded, sac Jodah, search omniscience.

As for Thrasios, most often people run infinite mana combos such as Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + 3 or more mana in mana rocks and ways of searching it. Using the infinite mana, they use Thrasios' activated ability to go through their whole deck.

For Derevi, he is a very open-ended commander, but the main strategy people use is using cards like Winter Orb to lock their opponents out of the game while they can still untap their lands with Derevi. However, due to Derevi's open-endedness, if you do not want to use Winter Orb you can use whatever the best win condition is for your strategy (i. e. Craterhoof Behemoth in tokens).

mgc974 thanks for the combo but how do you win in that situation?.

TheAmazingSteve the thrasios combo looks awesome but what do you draw for? What card are you looking to get out of it?

Personally with Thrasios I use Walking Ballista (off infinite mana) however I have seen decks use Angel's Grace + Windfall and Timetwister/Memory's Journey loops with Swan Song to generate infinite birbs. Then just Cyclonic Rift and wait a turn.

Once you got the scepter combo out (and have protection), you can really do whatever you want.
You could even Razor Boomerang them all to death if thats what you really wanted!

Cyberseb you win with value ! With Myojin of Seeing Winds you draw tons of cards, with Myojin of Night's Reach every opponents discard his hand, with Tidespout Tyrant if you draw enough cards, you can clean the board every turn. (look at this stax version of cEDH channel

With Jodah I think you have to choose between the way of "spellsliging" or "creature". Than, you don't need to have a combo to kill all your opponents, just find some stax effects, some way to remove their permanents every turn. In my deck, i run a spellslinging (and less competitive) theme. With sunbirds invocation, Swarm Intelligence, Paradox Engine, Vial Smasher the Fierce, Omniscience. I run 10 wrath, Enter the Infinite with some Time Reversal effects.
