What would an "anti-Selesnya" Selesnya deck look like?

Goal
The idea here is to explore ways to make an "Anti-Selesnya" Selesnya deck. Selesnya is usually an aggressive go wide/tall strategy. It's about strength in numbers and size, the whole, together, life, death by attacking. So, I want to make one that explores the contradictions to this - sacrificing & recursion, control direct damage, and I'm open to whatever else.
I'm thinking Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist for as the commander because she's an automatic pillow fort. There's also some fun tappy/untappy shenanigans in these colours one could get into.
Any ideas? What could be the core of it? What would be needed to make it work?

I actually tried (not very hard and later abandoned) a mono white deck that plays a lot like a mono black deck. It may have some ideas that you find useful. Here it is.
