What Color Combination For Merfolk in EDH?

Hello!
I was wondering what you all think the best color combo is for merfolk in edh. The main contenders I think are U/G, U/W, U, and possibly bant? Any thoughts?
UG is the core that you want to lean on the most. As for the best supporting colors, you should aim for B or W. The thing with BUG and BANT is that they don't really have good commanders for the strategy. Derevi is probably the best Bant Legend for merfolk since her ability rewards you for having creatures and the wizard subtype is actually relevant. Alternatively, Sidar Kondo and Thrasios are kick ass as well and do lots of relevant things while Thrasios is actually a merfolk as well. As for BUG, Mimeoplasm, Tasigur, and Damia all do relevant things.

I prefer UW merfolk for unblockable + pillow fort tactic with Sygg, River Guide as commander.

UG merfolk is more leaning towards playing +1+1 counter tactics with Prime Speaker Zegana being the most favorable commander pick.
A Bant Merfolk Commander that supports both Islandwalk and +1+1 Tac would be a dream come true. But lets see what C18 will have in stores.

I keep hoping we'll get a legendary , , and/or merfolk. They're represented in all 5 colors so the sky is the limit!
