Tokens or Recursion?

I'm in the middle of a decision with Divine Decree my Queen Marchesa deck of awesomeness. The win conditions are things like Impact Tremors and Blood Artist. There will be consistent damage and life loss going on and I should be gaining little bits from here and there as well. That is the part of the strategy I'm sure of.

The part I'm not sure of is should I use tokens to accomplish this or recursive creatures? The tokens seem more explosive, especially when I use something like Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs next to Purphoros, God of the Forge. While the recursive creatures would be slower I think but Kuldotha Phoenix will just keep coming back to set off Impact Tremors over and over.

To me both ideas seem good and I think it really comes down to explosive vs recursive. Thoughts are appreciated.

Tokens tend to be less mana-intensive than recurring valuable cards, but also less impactful individually (unless you're using Tremors.) I play a similar strategy in my Prossh deck, and the Victimize that I run is almost irrelevant.

Whereas something like Tempt with Vengeance can be preposterous, but you're left with some nearly useless 1/1s.

I suppose I'll stick to tokens for now, a lot of the self recursive creatures are either efficient but weak like Bloodghast or expensive and have requirements like Kuldotha Phoenix. I would likely do something with undying/persist and Solemnity and a sac outlet too but that requires multiple pieces. I also have token stuff on hand so it is cheaper to go token focus for now...

Thanks for your thoughts MindAblaze.
