To Break Theme or Not to Break Theme

The deck in question: Izzet a Goldfinger?

The general theme is that all of the nonland cards are multicolored. The deck doesn't tend to win many games, but it does get into some random, wacky interactions.

...then Reclusive Artificer was spoiled. Even if it doesn't make it into the other 99, it had me return to the time-old question: Should I break theme and add artifacts? I already ruled out mono-colored cards because it makes the deck less unique. Yet there are some underpowered cards in the deck.

As of right now, there are only 2 artifacts: Etherium-Horn Sorcerer and Skyclaw Thrash. Having even just one isn't very likely. The artifacts I'm looking at adding are ones that generate a ton of mana at once (so, Gilded Lotus, for example).

Why? Because the deck can get very mana-hungry. Having enough lands isn't the issue, as I've been able to reliably have enough in the past. The problem is being able to do more than what I can already do on a given turn (even opponents' turns!).

So...any advice on this? It seems like it is a easy question, but this is the one deck that I'm hesitant to break theme. Thanks in advance.

That's better. Now it's the right deck.

Worst case scenario, you take out a land for Reclusive Artificer. I think keeping all your non-land, non-artifact cards as multi-colored is still a very Izzet theme :)
