Time Warp or Rite of Replication?

Commander Deck Help forum

I have Time Warp in nearly every EDH deck I have that contains the color blue (although my white/blue decks instead contain Medomai the Ageless), because of how useful that card is.

However, I am considering replacing the copy of time warp in my red/blue/green deck with Rite of Replication, because, as awesome as it is to be able to take multiple additional turns, copying the rite with Riku could lead to insane combinations.

What does everyone else say about this subject? Should I replace Time Warp with Rite of Replication?

I would honestly just remove Runes of the Deus for rite and keep the warp.

Rite of Replication is more on flavor for riku but Time Warp is the stronger card. Though I'd just run both and removed the enchantment package you have.

saluma, RNR_Gaming, I actually am wondering how useful Fable of Wolf and Owl is in this deck, mainly due to its high mana cost (if it cost 1 mana less, it would be awesome, because 6 mana is a very high cost for that effect), but, perhaps my best option is to play with the deck with both cards, and see which produces better results.

I mean you are the pilot of the deck! When you play and see a card and go "oof I wish this was something else" or if you rarely play a card due to manacost or impact on board you probably want to replace it. If you go "Awesome this is so good" most of the time its a keep.

Best way to know if you should keep it replace a card is playtest. Either with yourself or others.

Best way to learn and make cuts and replacements is trial and error

saluma, RNR_Gaming, that is very true, so, once game stores are open for business, again, I definitely will need to test this deck.

A good target with Rite of Replication can result in a victory. Time Warp can if copied also put you in a position to win the game.
