Ramp, Curse, Treasure, Ultimatum, PROGENITUS

Hello. This is my first post on the first commander deck I have ever built.

After peeping the nigh-immovable Progenitus, I knew right away I wanted it as a commander. I'm sure many of you have thought the same. Of course, I did not want to break the bank, so I kept the deck under 60 dollars. Some of the cards I already own, such as Keranos, God of Storms and Chromatic Lantern, so that reduces the deck cost significantly.

Basically, I did some research on EDHREC and Youtube to see what other people were doing with Progenitus on a budget. There were control decks that fog away damage into board wipe then Progenitus. I also found a deck that used curses as well. Many had overlapping cards such as Jodah, Archmage Eternal. I ended up with a deck that has a little of everything. Ramp with treasure tokens and land-fetch into curses and creature-wipe. Of course, I have creatures of my own, but they are sparse. I also make use of about five different Ultimatums in the late game to spice things up a bit and turbo ahead of my opponents. Lastly, two Vraska planeswalkers help out by chipping away at the opponent.

In essence it is a chip-damage control deck. I have played seven or so test hands with the deck and they all seemed too good to be true. It begs the question, does it need to be more stream-lined than it is? Should it focus solely on curses and enchantment synergy? Also, is Niv-Mizzet Reborn pointless since I hardly use any color pairs? If so, how could I enhance Niv-Mizzet's utility by adding cards?

I was so excited i just threw alot of things in here, and it is surprisingly balanced color-wise. Finally do you see any glaringly obvious weaknesses in this deck?

Niv-Mizzet Reborn is hard to play right without lots of money for cards like Assassin's Trophy, Vindicate, Teferi, Time Raveler, etc. He's not that great otherwise.

I'd just suggest to have more card draw. It's essential in commander to draw cards, mostly because of the prevelance of boardwipes and the fact that 3 people are killing off your stuff at most points in the game. You've got to get enough cards out to overwhelm several people around the same time. Card advantage is half of it. The other half is mana ramp.

ah I see what you mean about Niv Mizzet. i was wondering what people were playing to make him good. and the overall bigger picture like card draw is a nice call too.
