Orolo or Sharuum? Control Deck Making.

I'm trying to make a control deck and I know both of these lend themselves to different types of control but hear me out. I can't decide what sounds more fun, artifact (Sharuum the Hegemon) control or lifegain/pillowfort (Oloro, Ageless Ascetic) control. Can anyone tell me which can be built better on a fairly tight budget? Not considering lands though.
PS. Not doing infinite combos. They make my playgroup upset.
I find that both decks generally draw a lot of hate, but if you're playing without infinite combos, I'd say Sharuum the Hegemon is better.

A lot of Oloro decks like to prevent their opponents from doing anything at all, then gain unreasonable amounts of life and win with something like Aetherflux Reservoir without Storm. I guess it's just my personal preference, but I'm not the biggest fan of pillow fort decks. Sharuum is just a value engine with some occasional shenanigans.

I actually have the opposite opinion. I feel like a grindy pillow fort control list would be the better option. I say this because it will allow you to set up multiple value engines to put you ahead of the rest of the table while having your defenses in place. You would even get extra value out of things like Bitterblossom or Thopter Spy Network having a constant stream of flying attackers/blockers.

sharuum is a combo commander usually, oloro is the control king for esper, hence why he is banned in 1v1, oloro can usually deal with stax better and so you can Armageddon or Winter Orb with ease while gaining life
usually i only see oloro and Sen Triplets as esper control leaders, sharuum zur and sydri are all more suited for combo, since zur and sharuum have insane infinite potential, for example sharuum + Sculpting Steel = infinite sharuum triggers, throw in a Disciple of the Vault and you win
oloro is just gross though, nobody including you gets to do anything in an oloro stax list and late game you always have insane life advantage and can use him to draw cards and finish games via lifesteal
