Now It's Decision Time

Commander Deck Help forum

Ok so I asked you guys to point out some commanders I may enjoy. So here's the second part to that. These are some decks I threw together and I wanna see which one you guys think I should make. I also included some of the ones from my mono-color post that I designed before. I also added a couple that while doing research I came across and tickled my fancy.

A little context for people just joining us.

A while ago I asked you guys to pick a mono-colored commander to make, (I have trouble deciding these kinds of things) and it ended up being my fav deck. So I'm here to see if you guys can do it again but with no color restrictions, the suggestions where made, the sample decks have been designed, and it's voting time yet again.

Ok I made some cuts the current standings are

Darien 2 /Macho Man 2 /Wort 2 /Talrand 2 /Ezuri 4 /Sigarda 3 /Rishkar 1 /Ephara 4 /

I tally them based on upvotes of the decks, and comments.

Voting will continue until about the 17th or until the thread dies.

This first section is some mono colored post fellas making a return.

Darien

Darien, King of Snow Cones

lifegain token army stuff, looked kinda neat so it was worth a second go around, to see if people and myself like it.

Rune Tail

Macho Man, Rune-Tail

A mono white army of value and lifegain. Essentially the whole deck doesn't take damage so long as you keep "Macho Man" around and don't get below 30 life. I call him macho man cause I made some jokes when i was designing the deck, so I promised myself if I make it I'm gonna find a nice photo of macho man and put it in the sleeve on top of the commander for fun. He makes everybody Snap into a Slim Jim.

Now the ones from this post.

Wort

Wort, Goblin-y Awesome Stuff

Now her art is ugly, but I like goblins, outside of the fact that they don't tend to do well later in the game. So i was hoping black could make up for it. either way it's packed with some of my fav gobbos and plenty of the usual goblin shenanigans.

Talrand

Talrand's Flying Fish

Edit* I have been given some good suggestions and have a pretty good combo-y direction to go. This would be the deck I would make, Tangled Up In Blue - Talrand Morph You would still upvote the "flying fish" one as to not throw off the votes though.

Special thanks to hosshughes, it's his deck and he makes some of the best budget decks on here. Check some of 'em out if you want.

Ezuri

The Claws of Progress Move Ever Forward

Ezuri is someone who I threw together and realized, "holy cow he's pretty cheap to make on a budget" so I threw in more powerful stuff and made it better, making it cost more around the same as everything else on this list. He legitimatly seems like he would pack quite the punch though.

Sigarda

Sigarda, Savior to us all

This one seems very flavorful and pretty cool. Wasn't expecting much from the human/angel tribal, only to be surprised by this deck and it's gathered power.

Rishkar

Rishkar Leader of The Woods

Bam! Rishkar is pretty neat-o, I like the idea of constant ramp plus my creatures getting bigger the whole time. I think he's worth at least trying.

Ephara

Ephara, Creature Fuel and Control

Something I threw together figuring I could play around with some ideas, Honestly my friends say the commander is just kinda lame and that I should run Grand Arbiter Augustin IV as the commander instead, something more "impactful", but I suppose tossing the idea this way may give some insights because I think the subtlety of the commander is kind of a draw.

I like your Sigarda list a lot!

I happen to have someone in my playgroup who plays Ephara, God of the Polis. If you want to abuse her and draw on each of your opponents turns, you will have to play a lot of stuff that can either blink or create creatures. You do have some nice ETB abilities, so maybe something like Eldrazi Displacer can help you here. Another very powerfull card for Commander that fits Ephara perfectly is Luminarch Ascension.

Those are the 2 between which I would choose (or make both lol)

As far as I can tell my Talrand is completely unique on TappedOut and I have a very high success rate when playing. It goes for the combo win instead of token damage Tangled Up In Blue - Talrand Morph

Ok your Talrand seems a little more well made, I get what's going on, so the plan is get infinite mana to get infinite tokens?

You can, but I usually draw out my opponents with Blue Sun's Zenith or bounce their board with Capsize

So hosshughes so is that a vote for tarland? Or are you just pointing me towards building your version if I make it.

If your playgroup is casual or play 1v1 then a normal Talrand deck is fine. If it's competitive I think my build is the way to go.

Thanks so far for these votes. I'm sorry to hosshughes for being rude, Your deck is awesome and you do make the best Budget decks on here imo, so I respect your opinion highly. I would also like to ask to list your deck instead of mine for the post, seeing as it will likely be the one I make if I make Talrand.

I made a quick edit to this list removing Kaseto, Rafiq Roon, and Feldon. Sidisi I'm sad to say has to wait for another day as well. The Mono colored fellas got votes as well, so they will stay for now.

Thank you those whom upvoted the decks and, Everyone who has commented.

You guys are all awesome, thank you all so much.
