Need Help with Radha, Heir to Keld

Commander Deck Help forum

Hey All,

I have been playing MTG for a little while now and have mainly been playing kitchen table magic so i don't know how my deck stacks up. My play group may still be making small mistakes so please let me know if there is anything unusual and maybe i can explain it.

Radha, Heir to Keld - Rampy Mc Ramp Face

The idea is to make sure Radha comes out turn two before anyone has any proper answers then make use of her extra green to get as many ramp cards out as possible so that by turn 4-5 you should be able to play a 6-7 cost creature or pump out something like Omnath, Locus of Rage, Primordial Hydraor even Neheb, the Eternal to push your ramp even more. From there is mainly just more of the same.

With Increasing Savagery i have even got a commander damage kill quite early on in the game.

I mainly play 1v1v1v1 but this deck also performs in 1v1, although there are not many other decks to play against.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions, although i am on a budget i do also like to see expensive cards.

Thanks :)

I have also been thinking about swapping Radha, Heir to Keld for Grand Warlord Radha but am not quite convinced.

Just my 2 cents on radha vs radha.

I consider the new Radha better but the deck will function differently. You will want to get 1-2 creatures every turn then play her turn 4 and gain around 5 mana to play something else, optimally. From there it just gets more and more explosive each turn until someone hits you with a Wrath of God. It is a balancing act of early game things and monstrous mana dumps. Something like Tilonalli's Summoner would be perfect for the new one. The only real downside is needing to be much more aggressive so something like Dolmen Gate would also be nice.

Dolmen Gate seems pretty cool great card for grand warlord, yeah think I'll be keeping heir to keld for a little while maybe one day I'll do it.
