Need help with direction for Heartless Hidetsugu

I know the basics with Heartless Hidetsugu and Furnace of Rath type effects and the need for haste. I'm seeking suggestions on what route to go in making him. Should I go more cutthroat and use lots of ramp to get him out since I will be the primary target? Or should i add a decent amount of 
burn? Should I go more chaos and MLD? Are there any lesser known cards that synergize well with him? Or is the only viable option the straight up ramp-to-tap strategy?

beware though. you have to almost kill yourself first. if you want to win, let them get you below 19 so you can just instantly say 'oops'

also run stuff like
Teferi's Puzzle Box and other stuff that cycles people's hands, since all you need is a general, and they need setups.
Ward of Bones will help you maintain balance between players.
also lifelink stuff.

Glacial Chasm is my favorite card in heartless. Expedition Map to tutor for it. Then just run stuff like Bitter Feud, Dictate of the Twin Gods and he like to make him lethal.

Treasonous Ogre + damage doubling + heartless is a win.

Thanks for the replies! So I worked up a prototype shell. Not sure if I need to toss in some MLD, creature untap like Puppet Strings, or little pingers/burn spells. Tell me what you think:
