Need Advice for Zombie Tribal: Orzhov or Esper?

I'm torn between Varina, Lich Queen and Athreos, God of Passage .
The former would grant me access to Rooftop Storm , Diregraf Captain and Undead Alchemist .
The latter would allow for a simpler manabase and still be powerful enough with reanimation synergies (e.g. Oversold Cemetery , Debtors' Knell , etc.).
Granted, I could have the best of both worlds and have Athreos, God of Passage within an Esper deck.
Either way I'm looking for a fun, thematic core for the living impaired.
The lich queen is probably the better of these two option. As it grants you the blue control. I have not updated my zombie list yet, as I went from mono white to esper (long live the queen).

Blue adds so many zombies, I think it's more worth it to go 3 color than Orzhov.
BTW: Chromatic Lantern is so cheap right now, and with black and blue you got tutors and artifact tutors. Not to mention recursion for artifacts with white. It would totally smooth out the mana base imo.

crash328: both of the listed commanders give access to white. the extra color granted by Varina is blue.

Hey, how about a third option of neither? I suggest The Scarab God for Zombie tribal. Varina is fine, but you want to be aggressive with Zombies which is difficult with a three color manabase.
If you can only choose between the two then go with Varina. But I suggest primary black manabase/creature base to stay aggressive with only splashes of blue and white.

multimedia: a three color mana base does not in any way make it difficult to be aggressive. varina actually enables much more aggression than the scarab god. she provides an easy outlet for dumping zombies into the grave, many of which will just reanimate themselves afterward. and thats before taking into account the card draw, or creatures she creates.

While a simpler mana base is good, the benefits of having access to white, including the amonkhet white zobies that varina gives you is undeniable. I recommend her
