Working on my first EDH deck looking for suggestions.
I choose many of these cards because I already own them. The goal of the deck is to mana ramp as quickly as possible to either have more creatures or more powerful creatures than my opponent with the ultimate goal of getting Craterhoof Behemoth out.

You could go down the more elf ball deck with Collected Company and Paradox Engine to help in combining off and using hoof to swing for lethal, otherwise you could include Tooth and Nail to help tutor

A card that I personally always think in mono-green that is extremely underrated is Karametra's Acolyte . In mono-green, especially if you're wanting to play on your opponent's turn, having a creature that can easily tap to add 5+ mana is ridiculous. I have a 60 that at its fastest plays Elvish Mystic turn 1, another Mystic turn 2, the Acolyte turn 3, Garruk, Caller of Beasts turn 4 and drops Worldspine Wurm with Garruk's -3 ability. Or, if I manage to find two Mystics, plays Mystic turn 1, Mystic turn two, Acolyte turn 3. I have nine mana available on turn four and can drop a big green beastie. Then as long as I played something turn four, I can play the Wurm at full cost on turn five.
In summary, Karametra's Acolyte can get really ridiculous really fast in a mono green deck that wants to ramp.

I'll throw Brutalizer Exarch in with edengstrom1's list of creature tutors. Tutors to top of library but is also a creature so may fit in nicely with any other creature synergies.

If you want to get Craterhoof Behemoth down the I think tutor cards like Chord of Calling , Green Sun's Zenith and Natural Order to cast then get Craterhoof Behemoth directly onto the battlefield. Also an Elf deck to get lots and lots of mana and creatures would be a good place to start, also Seton, Krosan Protecter druid tribal gets lots of mana and plays huge spells for cheap.

Since your ultimate goal is to get Craterhoof Behemoth out, you should have some tutors to be able to find him every game. Cards like Green Sun's Zenith , Chord of Calling , Summoner's Pact and Primal Command can get him into your hand or onto the battlefield more consistently.
