I haven't made an edh from scratch an I want to know if Muldrotha, the Gravetide will be any good as a general. And what cards would be staples in the deck and what direction you'd take with the deck. He it? looks super sweat. Thanks in advance

She. says so on card. Yes, she will be very playable. Very powerful except in a very cut throat meta. Permanents mainly. Can play a few ways. Self mill with ramp is the direction I'm prob gonna take. Ramping to get her in play. Blue counters to protect, but use maily permanents to protect. Things that give hex proof. Some specific: Glen Elendra Archmage, Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, Lion's Eye Diamond, Leyline of Anticipation, Dust Bowl, Wood Elves, Caustic Caterpillar. There are others that would work also. These are just ones that would work no matter the direction your deck took, and each serves a different purpose.

80% Comp Muldrotha, I whipped that up in a couple hours. Cards like Mystic Remora become a 1 mana per turn cost, same with Unbridled Growth which you can sac to draw. board wipes affect you less, Armillary Sphere and Dawntreader Elk let you fetch lands. All sorts of good stuff can be done.

Your graveyard becomes and extension of your hand, like Tasigur, the Golden Fang but better.

With Deadeye Navigator you can use Muldrotha's effects additional times.
