I want to make an EDH deck, I want to make U/W Control. Can I have some help?
Make something political like pillow fort something that doesnt lock people out of the game necessarily just something that lets you live while they kill eachother

Then your commander should be Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

Use an advanced mtg card search online such as http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Advanced.aspx and look through all the U/W legendary creatures that would suit your playstyle and use it as a commander. Once you have, find cards within the colours (using the search again) that interact with the commander.
Every Commander requires about 35-40 land, ramp spells and about 25+ Creatures (usually.) Use cards that protect you commander and find combinations that work using the commander and/or synergise with other cards

If you want, you can check out my Azorius EDH control deck for ideas.
I'm gonna list off some commander choices and some of their strengths/weaknesses.
Grand Arbiter Augustin IV
Strengths: Lowers the cost of spells; taxes other players; cheap to cast
Weaknesses: Gets hated on a lot; no natural protection (hexproof, indestructible, ect.)
Lavinia of the Tenth
Strengths: Automatic trigger; locks down opponents easily (creatures, ramp, ect.); protection from red
Weaknesses: Higher cmc; limited to the mana cost of other spells
Medomai the Ageless
Strengths: Flying; gives you extra turns for locking down others
Weaknesses: Can't attack on multiple turns; high cmc; doesn't have as much synergy with control

If you're new to the format, be aware that some commanders have quite a reputation. When you sit down at a table, people will evaluate how much of a threat your deck is likely to be by looking at who it is. So you want to avoid using ones that paint a big target on you. As SirFowler said, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV is one of these.
There are a number of Azorius commanders to choose from, though. Many are built around securing card advantage, which is helpful for control decks but may not appeal as much to build around. The number one priority in EDH should be having fun! So I think Lavinia of the Tenth might be the best choice for you right now, but have a look at all the possibilities before deciding.

The blog Commander Theory has a lot of useful articles about Commander deckbuilding and format considerations, and a bunch of decklists and deck techs. I'd highly recommend it.

Thanks Guys! I think I'm going to make a EDH deck using Lavinia as the commander asSirFowler and ComradeJim270 recommended. I'll post a decklist on this thread when I'm done!

Well, first off, how badly do you want to control others? To a point where they just up and quite? Or just enough to keep them on the hook, but still allowing them to have fun at the same time?
