Help with Mono-Blue Land-Matters

This popped into my head as just something fun to do, but am wondering if it can really be viable. It started with the synergy between Meloku the Clouded Mirror and Patron of the Moon . So I want to try to do a mono-blue land-matters theme around one of those two as the commander, along with Moonfolk and other cards that bounce lands back to my hand, and then using Patron to drop them back down.

More info in the description. I'm leaning towards Patron of the Moon as the commander, because it can drop the lands. Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated (accept Crucible of Worlds ...out of budget).

I already have a Simic land-matters deck with Tatyova, Benthic Druid as the Commander. That was easy to do.

That's not bad at all. Mystic Sanctuary could abuse it.

Wouldn't work... 'same name'. It'd have to be basic Islands.

No, Last_Laugh, I meant that Mystic Sanctuary would be able to get it back so I could cast it again.

Dreamscape Artist and Vedalken Plotter would be good tech choices. Parallax Tide has some potential. Also with blue's top deck manipulation, Druidic Satchel could make for some good ramp

Move the idea to blue/green, add in Lotus Cobra and Simic Growth Chamber and Amulet of Vigor . Now you can generate infinite mana and infinite tokens with the loops while also having access to a color that will help facilitate your overall game plan of lands mattering and being able to find them consistently.
