help with first deck

so after extensive reading and researching, i finally made my first commander vampire deck. was coaxed into it by local card shop. i am very new to the mtg world. any advice or tips is welcomed and appreciated.

First of all though, I recommend take out Olivia, Mobilized for War unless your going madness. maybe Guul Draz Assassin?

Urge to Feed is a good one. Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle. Also when they release Elenda, the Dusk Rose, I would recommend that. Don't forget Sanctum Seeker!

i bought arid mesa for $35, so thats probably max id spend on a card. the guul is a nice looking card, by keeping olivia mobilized cause a deck style clash?many thanks though

I just don't think discarding cards is right for this deck because you don't have many vampires with the 'Madness' ability. Your just giving up card advantage for one extra damage.

strong argument, lol. i will then make the switch and keep her for possible side board/deck then! would my deck be considered what? im just calling it an edgar markov deck, i see a lot of madness/tribal etc titles. thank you.
