So I built Can't Touch Phage awhile back and it has been fun to pull out now and then. Problem is that it is just black good stuff. All I did to make it was decide Phage the Untouchable would be funny at the head of a deck and then threw in a bunch of black cards. I'm thinking maybe black voltron to give this deck more of a direction. It will remain black and unless you are extremely convincing it will continue to be led by phage. I have built some white voltron decks which is rather easy with all the equipment support in white but none of that exists in black. So what are some must haves for black voltron? Or would some other strategy be better suited to mono black? Also ways to deal with Iona, Shield of Emeria would be appreciated.
Black voltron needs Hatred!
Although Phage prefers a Whispersilk Cloak... Honestly, Phage needs tutors to get you the conditions necessary to not kill you, haste as in the boots, evasion as in Rogue's Passage and recursion to hand as in Erratic Portal.
Note that black offers poor protection for your needed artifacts, but I've seen some very fast decks with Phage.

Hmm for the casting phage part Torpor Orb and Sundial of the Infinite allow you to survive casting her. For getting rid of iona, there isn't much you can do aside from Visara the Dreadful, Avatar of Slaughter, and I guess Mycosynth Lattice to get around the color thing as a whole.
