Arcades, the Strategist? NOPE.

Doran, the Siege Tower? WRONG.

When it comes to Toughness Matters CMDRs, Pramikon, Sky Rampart would be literal Wall Tribe Lord incarnate that's the closest to Tribal Commanders on a Niche status (We got Hydra Lord now, & It creates so many on the fly.), but I'm not here for yet another Tribal Commander, I just wanted help for one thing right now:

(How do I make a Toughness Matters) deck in //? Commander: Pramikon, Sky Rampart. In spite of my Efforts, the First thing I need help w/ is:

1: Is there anything in MTG's entire Glossary of stuff that's good for Toughness Matters in ?

2: Notice most of my High Toughness Creatures aren't simply there as Defenders. Most actually have great abilities; & even don't have to be Wall Card Type to be so. Do you see this as a good idea, or not? This is very important if you're viewing my deck at incomplete status.

3: This is planned as a Toughness Matters deck, but some of the cards seem to show a Sub-Theme (Drannith Magistrate (HE'S NOT THE UNLUCKIEST. CEASE DEBATE. XP), & even Peregrine Drake.). Since this isn't the conventional Toughness Matters Deck using Defender more than I should, what do you think might be good here?

Honestly, I dunno what else to ask; maybe I'll add more questions overtime. Thanks for the help if you can; Obviously, this is a Pramikon, Sky Rampart "Toughness Matters" deck, but I'd rather Talk less of / (Golgari Swarm), & talk nothing at all about Doran, the Siege Tower as well as Arcades, the Strategist; I just want to experiment on a good Brew. Any ideas that can help? Thanks again. :)

(& sorry for the Huge Wall back there; I didn't think I wanted help again. X/ At least I eradicated it.)

Since I'm/we're not allowed to Bump, I'll just get to the primary topic,

I'll just remove some unneeded elements of the OP Post in case anyone still cares; although I do ponder if My third color is ; but that's for another time.

I'll just ask again: Do you think the Direction I'm going for this is a good idea or not? & if the latter is so, what's the better solution than Low Toughness, but Awesome effects?

Though I really do want to make a Palladia-Mors, the Ruiner, as Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire has a lot of options for Deck Design. That means I'll want some Non-Dragon Tribal Options for Nicol Bolas' Sister of all things as she's the Black Sheep of the Elder Dragons, & I want to see to it she has a use. (Yes, Palladia-Mors is female, like I thought Mothra was a male at first. What localization of a Mothra Film was I watching...? DX)

Wait, we're not allowed to Bump? I still ponder as to why, & if otherwise, why was I following such conduct in the first place? >_<

Hi! Sultai_Sir here. I, too love experimenting with "off-color" brews, like Naya storm. Some toughness-matters cards I can think of are Wall of Nets, Vent Sentinel, and Psychic Membrane. I don't know what budget you're on, but High Alert seems like the all-star of your deck, and you should probably run some tutors like Idyllic Tutor of Enlightened Tutor to get it. I hope this helps, and as always, happy brewing!

@Sultai_Sir

Oh, hello! Sorry I didn't comment earlier. Well, thanks. I suppose the Defender Tribe idea was the better one all this time? I was looking for some more diversity on the effects, but maybe I was wrong after this. Appreciate the advice though! Oddly, I'm not restricted to "Off-Color" stuff also; but a WIP Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge deck of mine doesn't focus of cheap to cast Instants or Sorceries; just the very best in her colors that although Expensive to Hardcast, really are incredible in this case.

But, yeah. You definitely are onto something, but I'll need to revise some of my Older Stuff for recent memory (Core Set 2021/JUMPSTART) for now.

Oh, & almost forgot about the Budget of mine. Get ready. Even though I do make some exceptions to the rule, Original Dual Lands are usually off the table. Fetchlands like Scalding Tarn Are extremely price hungry, but Khans of Tarkir Fetchland Reprints are just fine. Gaea's Cradle was used several times, but I'm not putting another in a future deck list again. Nearly anything not reprinted from Portal as a Whole, Legends, even Arabian Nights are all out; Why would I fork over $1000+ on anything?

What I'm trying to convey is that the budget isn't exactly upon the deck as a whole, but on the individual cards. Usually ~$100 is the average threshold each. Hope this helps. :)

Oh, & one last thing before I have to put the rails back on topic. Besides Dragon Tribal, Auras, or even Equipment, how would you build a Palladia-Mors, the Ruiner deck? I'll get this back on topic after.

& thanks for the advice, Sultai_Sir! I'll see what I can do about it. :)

Thanks for all the information! Now, how would I build Palladia - Mors? I actually didn't know this card existed, but it seems like a really cool commander that has a unique ability. Personally, I would prioritize getting the indestructible keyword on her, with cards like Darksteel Plate and Shield of the Oversoul. And then start building her up until you can one-shot someone. That way, you can be assured one kill. After that, you can start to kill players off, one by one, until only you're left standing. If you want to keep talking about Palladia, you can make a separate thread. Hope this helps!
