Good Infinite Combos For Artifacts in Mono-Blue

Commander Deck Help forum

I made a deck with Sai, Master Thopterist at the helm to see how I would like artifacts as an archetype. I like it very much. But while the deck does a great job of drawing cards and swinging wide, games can easily drag out. I have a lot of artifact tutors or ways to cheat out artifacts. The deck is budget and while I would normally not want combos using Paradox Engine if I find enough that I like I will add it to the deck. Any ideas welcome!

Kind of a janky three-card combo, but it goes well with Sai, Master Thopterist: Words of Wind + Vedalken Archmage or Riddlesmith (much more budget-friendly) + any 0-cost artifact. It works out to "1: Each opponent returns a permanent to their hand." if you keep replacing the Archmage or Riddlesmith draw with bouncing the artifact. I haven't used it in Commander, though.

And I somehow missed the word Infinite in the title. For the 0-cost artifact, use Mox Amber, or try to sneak in a Mox Sapphire. Everyone has one of those budget essentials lying around, right?

Time Vault + Animate Artifact + Freed from the Real = Infinite Turns in mono-Blue, your commander not required.

Mana rocks equaling 4 mana with Paradox Engine + Chaos Wand. I don't think anyone has caught on that Chaos Wand is straight Fire in commander games. The ability to run an entire decks worth of instants (or the entire table) while possibly netting extra mana is criminally insane. Since the Paradox Engine triggers a cast, you can actually pull jank by responding to the first instant you play. It's glorious... Kim Jong Un glorious.

Pili-Pala and Grand Architect make infinite mana. Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal does it better if you have 3+ nonland mana because it also gives you infinite untaps which can combo with lots of things.

Barry, the problem is that Time Vault is over $600. Otherwise I would use it.

If you want to go infinite isochron scepter and dramatic reversal as well as pili pala with grand archers has are the best. Not going infinite here are some fun things to do:

Paradox engine + top Deadeye navigator things Kearney clan ironworks loops

Or you could make a sort of mono blue storm thing with retract and freinds.

Also the teferi that can be your commander with chain veil is good.

I know someone who plays a thopter aggro deck with adaptive automation and the immortal sun as well as other cards that give your things +1/+1

Gilded Lotus + Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal = Infinite mana
