Exquisite Invention, $50 Worth of Upgrades?

Hey all.
So I'm working on upgrading the Exquisite Invention precon. I would like some feedback based on the upgrades I've already put in, and stuff I can put in on a 50$ budget in total.
I'm open to changing commanders but gotta stay with my favorite guild in the multiverse. Any suggestions on the best way to upgrade this?
I have thought of Tawnos. He does seem like an interesting and cool general to build around. Do you happen to know of a list I could look at?

I don't know of any lists off the top of my head, but really, he's about getting extra value out of artifacts. He's only a two-drop general, too, which I really find appealing. I'd run him with what you've got in the list, and see how he performs.

You probably have already checked on YouTube but there are a few video suggestions on how to upgrade the pre-con.. i personally dislike artifacts decks so i can't be more helpfull than this.. among them i suggest the ones from budget mtg decks and mtg goldfish..

Have you considered running Tawnos, Urza's Apprentice as the Commander? You're running a ton of artifacts, and generating more value off of them might make it worthwhile. Vedalken Humiliator can be great for helping to push combat damage through.
