When someone has control of an opponent's turn do they get to decide, when the commander leaves a zone, whether or not the commander is returned to the command zone?

Please provide rulings with number (example 100.2b).

Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question as it's late at night and if I try ill probably say it wrong bc im tired. However, this should be in the "Rules Q&A" section at the top of the bar on top of the page.

If you are in control of a persons turn, you do control where their commander goes, since it is a choice the owner must make. However, you had better kill them soon, because that is an instant vendetta and possibly a multiple game blood feud.

You can exile your commander, but the better question is if you should.

Yeah you can do that. But it's an absolute dickmove. If I know a player does such moves I will always try to kill him first unless someone is more threatening (casual with Aurelia. In competitive I would not care because I do not really need my commanders )

If it's a commander that is problematic on its own, it's certainly a good way to get rid of it. However, getting control over another player's turn is usually expensive and if it's just to permanently remove the commander, it's probably not worth the effort. Just kill or counter the commander 2 or 3 times and it won't come back anyway because no commander is so important that you pay 6 extra mana

This 9 out of 10 times this back fires as it (as others have said) piants a target for the guy you just messed with. I play Cruel Entertainment as it forces two other players to do the dirty work for me. Has yet to make anyone hate me as I am not the one doing the dirty stuff just enabling it to happen.

There are not many vendetta's I take from one game to another, but turn theft is one of them, and the fact that you can just keep their commander in a zone they might not have access to is one of them (especially considering the rule change to stop that as much as possible).

Taking that players turn caused me to win. If you are at the point in the game where you can take someone's turn due to massive amounts of mana you have then you should be winning and thus a target regardless.
