Adeliz for Kenrith Wizard Tribal

So I’ve been considering swapping Adeliz, the Cinder Wind for Will Kenrith and Rowan Kenrith as my commander for my wizard tribal deck. If I do this I’ll probably change it to be less agro and token based effects and more control and value.

Was curious about what other’s thoughts would be before I decide to make the change.

I think what I will probably end up doing is keeping the Adeliz deck list and make a new one for Rowan/Will just in case I ever decide to swap back.

I have to admit, I was greatly drawn to your Adeliz, the Cinder Wind deck, and thought it was terrific. Token wizards is a cool emerging archetype for red/blue, and is getting a lot of love lately, so it has that going for it, whilst Will and Rowan are great for a more control-oriented archetype. Since both commanders encourage different types of play style, it's hard to make a call over one or the other.

I think you should trust your original instinct, and keep the Adeliz deck list as a reference should you ever wish to return to it, build your Rowan and Will, see if you like it or not, and you can always return to Adeliz should you wish.

Me personally, I like Adeliz, the Cinder Wind . But that's me. :)
