1v1 4v4

I play a lot of casual edh both 1v1 and 4v4 and i was wondering which of these 2 commanders would be good in both.
And
I have been playing a Merieke Ri Berit deck for years now and that card is just busted in everything. She can control a 4 player game just as easily as a 1 player game. Is she a "casual" commander? ...no comment haha depends on the deck I suppose...mine's not very casual (see below). Oloro is a fine commander, but much slower for 1v1 games...I mean he costs twice as much mana to cast. Also Oloro tends to paint a big target on your head in multiplayer games, you are always "winning" first and get targeted first. They both get targeted a lot to be honest, but Merieke can at least do something about it.

Oloro is banned as a commander in French for a reason. I think this is all you need to know of his power level in 1v1. I'm assuming what you called 4v4 is 4 player FFA not two teams of four. If it is teams of four, I have no clue how he is. In my playgroup for FFA he is a fine commander. We aren't the most competitive bunch but I can usually handle the early heat from being the guy "winning" early game and transition to just another opponent by mid game.

4v4 game with Oloro? Whoever is keeping the lifetotals will hit over the head with the pad before writing that down every single turn, let alone when you use his ability.
