Uhh, why? What's the contest for? Also, how do you define "primary win condition"?

By primary win condition do you mean we have to attack with him, or he has to cause the damage? Or can we fling him with stuff like Blast of Genius , which then would be the source of damage? Also, what format, and any restrictions? This challenge is vague at best, like you didn't actually think about it before you submitted it.

My deck flings the hell out of him.

Primary win condition means you would mean that, by some means, having him in the deck causes you to win. He does not need to cause the damage; the aim was more of a Scornful Egotist theme deck. No restrictions on the deck, any format is fine.

However, keep in mind that 40 Black Lotus and 20 Scornful Egotist is not in the spirit of the challenge.

No restrictions? Ok. If you don't go off turn one (maybe two), you did it wrong. Countermagic backup is in there to.

Oh, well that comment was a little late. I didn't break any rules for constructed Magic by running more than 4 copies of a card though, and I don't even think a 40 Black Lotus 20 Scornful Egotist deck would actually be good, or even playable. However, 4 Black Lotus is decent for some decks I guess.

Don't worry CrazyLittleGuy, you're fine.

Well, I try to fling Egotist, you try to go infinite. Nice to see some balance here. Ah well, another day another win.

@JA14732 Sorry dude, mine's not really a legit submission, I'm just pretty much an asshole. Don't worry about it, or even count my submission anyway, I basically just tweaked the values on a Vintage VaultKey deck to make it more busted and removed the other wincons for Egotist, so I get a big fat 0 in creativity or fun.

Granted, since I'm kind of sadistic, I love playtesting the deck and seeing how often it goes infinite on turn one. I might proxy it later to surprise my playgroup and make them hate me almost as much as when I played Eggs for a while.

@CrazyLittleGuy's deck wins the most fun to playtest award, but will likely not win contest.

Interesting. An infinite turn combo deck, a semi-infinite turn combo deck, a fling deck, and an infect deck. We are a creative bunch.

ALL HAIL THE GREAT LORD EGOTIST!!!!

October 26, 2014 9:35 a.m.

OK, so lets be honest, this competition was just to see who has too much time on their hands. However, I did go ahead and judge the contest. The winner is biggestmtgnerd with his deck My name was stolen by JA14732. In playtesting, the ALL HAIL THAT GREAT LORD EGOTIST did second best; forcing game 3 by flinging the egotist straight at the face after the Timesifter went infinite in game 1. The deck then couldn't draw into anything but lands even after lots of card drawing and lost to a swarm of mana dorks.

Well, at least I'm glad I got second. Too bad that the draws didn't do too well, I haven't run into problems with it so far.
