My stores making a new format

My store is currently considering making a new format where every card has to have a word that starts with either E or G (the initials of the store), as a brewer at heart this has set my creative juices flowing, however I'm getting stuck at points. The vintage banned and restricted list applies can anyone offer me some inspiration, I'm currently going through making a list of fun cards to play with. Should also point out that I'm mainly a control player so cards that lean towards that kind of archetype.

Thanks in advance

The card doesn't have to start with an e or g but rather there has to be a word in it starting with e or g. So Path to Exile is legal

Looks like green decks are going to be the most powerful then since Mox Emerald is the only legal moxen. Might I suggest Enchantress as a deck? the draw engines have Es in their names. You lose Solitary Confinement and Serra's Sanctum though so IDK.

Yes there is a legal moxen but I don't think the casual group will worry about that too much, that's a good point I may adjust the enchantress list I was making to be legal, seems strong.

Didn't know how casual it was. Like if it is "10 proxies" worth of casual then it is something to consider. If it is "We are in it for the lolz but still no proxies" casual then it doesn't matter.

Sterling Grove is still legal as is Ghostly Prison and Elephant Grass (do you get a bonus for having both?). It is going to be a little wonky but I feel all decks are with this requirement lol. I assume you are allowed basics that break the rule? I'm really liking enchantress for this format.

Why did I forget the word empty in there? I was like "words of war- no, rest in peace- no, Sigil of the Throne- no" LOL yeah Sigil of the Empty Throne works just fine.
