Will There Ever Be a He-Man, Thundercats, or Voltron Movie?

In recent years, there have been many reboots of classic franchises from previous decades (mainly the 1970’s, 80’s, and 90’s), so I am wondering about several specific franchises.

Recently, there have been new She-Ra, Voltron, and Thundercats series, which I have not seen, but I have heard that they are very popular (although I do know that the new Thundercats series, Thundercats Roar, is very comedic, akin to Teen Titans Go!), and I have heard that there shall soon be a new He-Man series, as well, so I naturally am wondering if there shall be feature films adapted from those franchises at some point in the future.

Frankly, it is very surprising that none of those franchises has ever had a full-length film, especially considering the sheer number of films that have been adapted from various Marvel and DC properties, the numerous direct-to-video Scooby Doo films that have been made, the fact that a Transformers movie was made in 1986 (which I still believe is better than any of Michael Bay's Transformers films), as well as the fact that there have been film adaptations of both The Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I definitely believe that the time is right for movies of those franchises to be made, but I would wish for them to be well-written, with coherent plots and characters who feel well-developed and multi-dimensional, rather than being rushed cash grabs that are light on story, but heavy on action, as has been the case with nearly every Transformers film, other than Bumblebee.

What does everyone else say about this? Will there ever be a He-Man, Thundercats, or Voltron movie?

I hope not. No need to ruin perfectly good nostalgia for a quick buck. Whatever they do create, it will be a grand "live-action" CGI fest that has nothing to do with what made the original good.

Compare the two lion king movies and you will see exactly what a movie based on those properties will look like.

Everyone should know by now that He-Man was just a cruddy, second-rate rip-off of the fantastic & mighty Thundarr the Barbarian! So please no He-Man film(s) for me.

He-Man did have a film in the 80's/90's and is was bad then as a kid who was a He-Man fan. I saw it on TV back a few years ago and yep it aged much worse then I remember.

I think these shows fit much better in there proper place and that is as short ~30 minute cartoon episodes.

Game_of_Cones I saw that series, and it was nice to watch once, but I doubt that I could watch it a second time, since there was literally no central story; every episode was self-contained, and no episode ever had the same cast of characters, other than Thundarr, Ariel, and Ookla.
