Oh, this is a fun post.

First off, rules questions like this should be asked in the MTG Q&A section, linked up top.

Secondly, link your cards in threads by putting the name in [ [ ] ] double square brackets.

Thirdly, Verdant Haven doesn't find lands. An example of a card that does find lands: Rampant Growth . Unless the card specifically states that it's looking for a land card, you do not get a land. V Haven instead adds mana to your mana pool (collection and representation of how much mana you have available). All basic lands have the ability : TAP: Add (1 colroed mana) to your mana pool. V HAven makes your land, in essence, say: TAP: Add (2 colored mana) to your mana pool. This is mana that you have available, but is not a land card. Does that make sense?

So basically, the difference between a land and a mana is that a land is a physical card that you use to tap for mana, whereas mana is an invisible unit of energy that you have at your disposal. You can use Die or an app to keep track of your mana.

But playing a V Haven is essentially the same thing as paying 3 mana to lay another basic land (That is also an enchantment, and gains you two life).

As another example, Magus of the Vineyard doesn't allow everyone to search their deck for a Forest , but instead adds two units of Green mana to their pools.

Kind of.. so does that mean that the mana does not stack as i belived. Only the enchanted land now gives 2 instead of 1? Sorry im still pretty new lol

Ok now it makes a little sense lol so is there a limit to how many mana it can produce?

Ooook, this is a different issue.

Mana drains from your mana pool at the end of every phase. So for example, you tap your land with V Haven, get 2 mana, and you can use that mana during that phase.

However, there are some effects that say that mana doesn't drain from your pool, like that of Kruphix, God of Horizons .

So yes, mana doesn't "Stack", as you put it.

No, you may use Verdant Haven s ability for as long as you control it, whenever your land becomes untapped.
