My Bye CCONSPIRACY

Lol so no idea where to put this bc it's my first thread but two days ago I went to my shops TNM and was beautifully rewarded with two bye's in a row, this has now been 7 bye's in a row (scattered out Across 6 shop tournaments). I'm not asking for help in this issue I just want to know if this has happened to anybody else. Lol
Byes can also occur if someone drops out of the tournament. That happened during the last draft I was in on Monday. There were 12 people to start the draft (2 pods of 6), and after 2 rounds three people dropped so there was a bye in the final round. It's not unheard of, but it should be avoidable.

my shop owner Al uses some random program, and i was also confused when i received 2 bye's in a row, so i asked him and he said it was random and i take his word for it but i thought it was strange, especially since I have had a string of bad luck with byes haha

His program either doesn't work right or he's just dumb. First of all, you should never get a bye twice. Secondly, how can it choose you two times in a row if you got points for the bye but then there was somebody without points, lower than you? The bye is random in the first round and then goes to the lowest-ranked player each round after that.

thats why i created this thread i needed to learn how the system worked so thanks i guess lol i did shit in the tournament tho, chocking on creatures with no land to play it so i think i WAS the lowest ranking player.

Uh. Well, your shops aren't using Wizards tournament software and the tournaments aren't (shouldn't be) sanctioned as you should never receive more than one bye in any tournament.
