Thought I'd share my newest tattoo I got on Saturday, a skull wearing a crown featuring some of the moxen from MTG. Here's a link

The next session will be to fill in the top of the crown with background and add a black lotus below this piece.

Cool! I'm not generally big fan of skull tattoos but that is quite nice. Well made, if nothing. Adding Black lotus is a great idea!

It's done really well, but like the guy above, the subject isn't for me.

The lotus should look pretty sweet though!

Dd your link say it was done by Joey Hamilton? As in season 3 of Ink Master winner Joey Hamilton? Very nice tattoo.

Hey thanks everyone! smackjack that was the goal. I wanted it to stand alone as a tattoo and have that extra cool factor for those who play the game :)

Rocknj06 Yep! My girlfriend and I planned a trip to Vegas to be tattooed by Joey and Sausage (they opened a shop up together). She got a Harry Potter leg tattoo done by Sausage. Both artists were just as awesome and friendly as I imagined, and the experience was worth every penny.

Did it really take 9 hours to make?!

Also, what do you do, if you stop playing MTG? Then you will always have it tattooed on your arm....

Haha, yeah NorthernRaven. I spent 8 hours and 40 minutes under the needle for this one. The other hour was split up in small breaks over the course of the day. To your second point: even if I stopped playing MTG tomorrow it's still been a huge part of my life (in the neighborhood of 17 years). It wasn't a fleeting interest ;)

Wow! That is pretty impressive! Over 8 hours! Hope you will never regret that tattoo ;)

When playing for 17 years, I think it's fair to get a tattoo about it :)

Just a silly question: How much did it cost you? (Wondering how many cards you could have bought for the tattoo :P)

I don't want to give specifics, but I could have bought into several EDH decks or a solid legacy deck instead.
