Cast the Gatewatch in a movie.

Who would you cast as the 5 Gatewatch planeswalkers if there was going to be a movie?
Now I haven't read much of the lore, but mainly from looking at the art on the Oath cards,
Oath of Gideon
, Oath of Jace, Oath of Chandra, Oath of Nissa, Oath of Liliana, I would cast:
Gideon: Liam Hemsworth
Jace(Not really sure about this one): Ansel Elgort
Chandra: Kate McKinnon
Nissa (Not quite sure about this one either): Brie Larson
Liliana: Angelina Jolie

I agree with Barsan about Angelina Jolie as Liliana especially after Maleficent... Christian Bale as Jace Beleren because I think he would pull it off... Jenifer Lawrence as Nissa because she seems to be a mandatory female casting for every movie nowadays...Scarlett Johansson as Chandra nalaar...Vin Diesel or Dwayne Johnson as Gideon (both will need a wig)

Nicol Bolas: Benidtnci cumbetrpnathc(has experience voicing dragons)
Ajani: Liam Neeson(talented voice actor, has experience voicing lions)
Ugin: Ken Watanabe(figured ugin should sound Asian being from tarkir. I like Watanabe's voice)
Saheeli Rai: Gal Gadot(idk I'm stretching here)
Tezzeret: Mads Mikklesen(couldn't think of a better option atm)
Sorin Markov: Hugo Weaving(another thing to add to his nerd-resume)
Sarkan: Jason Momoa(there is simple no better option. I will fight you)

Ehhhh, I feel Gal Gadot would make a better Elspeth than Saheeli. That's just me. Totally agree on Mads, Weaving, and Momoa though.

I could see Gal Gadot as Nissa.
Angelina Jolie does seem like a good Liliana, good job team.

And Im going out on a limb here for Gideon and saying Nicolas Cage

Hmm... I always think Anne Hathaway can look like such a chick-flic-goodie-2-shoes then make that sudden transormation to provocative w/ no innocence. Since... if I remember right she goes from purist healer to demonpact in no time.
Some of these are B-grade but I think that is better than 'shoehorning' a big name into a character that is strange for that actor/actress
- Liliana = Anne Hathaway
- Gids = Kevin Durand - With a sweet handlebar 'stache
- Jace = Don't know...don't care, slap a hoodie on someone...Chuck Norris
- Chandra = Kate McKinnon seems good
Nissa = No clue :)

- Saheeli = Lynn Collins OR Rashida Jones
- Sarkan = Jason Momoa (I 2nd above post... Debatedly a good Gideon too!!)

MindAblaze I like Scarlet, but I think Chandra needs to be played by more of a teenager in my opinion. Also, Nick Cage? hahahah too funny! We need to find a role for him tho...

I would choose Jessie Eisenbeg to play to play Jace, because he has experience playing an illusionist from the Now You See Me movies, but I suppose that either Chris Evans or Chris Pine could also do well in that role. Alternatively, Tom Felton may be good for the role, as well, since he has skill with playing an arrogant brat who thinks highly of himself. With that being said, Felton would make a great Tibalt.
My first choice for Gideon would be Hugh Jackman, but, if he is too old, my next choice would be Chris Hemsworth.
I would choose Chris Pratt for Ral Zarek, based on his role as Peter Quill/Star Lord, since the first image shown of Ral reminded me of Quill.
Rob Zombie would be the obvious choice for Tezzeret, due to the clear physical resemblance, and, by that logic, David Tennant would be great for Venser.
I suppose that Evangeline Lily would work for Nissa, mostly because she has already played an elf in The Hobbit films.
Gwynelth Paltrow might work as Chandra, despite her age, since she looked great with red hair in the Iron Man films and did briefly have pyrokinetic powers, or perhaps either Famke Janssen or Sohpie Turner would be good, since they also played red-haired pyrokineticists.
I would choose Kevin Michael Anderson for Ajani, primary because he did an excellent job of playing Panthro in the 2011 Thundercats series.
I think that Samuel L. Jackson would be great as Koth, mainly because it would be hilarious to hear him shout "I am tired of these motherfucking Phyrexians on this motherfucking plane!"
I would choose Catherine Zeta Jones to play Liliana, because she is the right age to play a seductive woman who has centuries of experience and also can certainly portray a femme fatale with power and authority.
For Sorin, I would choose possibly Antonio Banderas, Jason Isaacs, or Johnny Depp, as all of whom have the skill to play an immortal and immoral vampire with the air of deadly elegance and grace that Sorin has. On that subject, Anthony Hopkins would be great for Edgar Markov, based on a combination of his roles of the elder Zorro in The Mask of Zorro and as Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs.
If they were still alive, either Tony Jay or Christopher Lee would be absolutely perfect as Nicol Bolas, because their voices were deep and powerful, as Bolas's should be. Since they are not alive, either Tim Curry or James Earl Jones would also be great, since they have plenty of experience playing diabolical villains. Alternatively, if an adaptation of this game were made in Japan, Joji Nakata, Norio Wakamoto, Sho Hayami, or Ryuzaburo Otomo would all work as Bolas, as well, since all of their voices are amazingly deep and powerful.
If she were still alive, Margaret Haimlton would be great for Braids, since, when I read the books of Odyssey block, I always imagined Braids having a voice similar to that of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Ian McDiarmind would be perfect for the Cabal patriarch, mainly because the patriarch is very similar to Palpatine in that he is an elderly man who has long held power and is very skilled at manipulating others into doing his bidding.
