I'm a RENThead from way back.

I also love Evita, Annie, and the usual Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera.

I stumbled upon Cry Baby the other day and love the songs. So clever and great tunes.

What's your poison?

Any favourite singers?

I like Eden Espinosa, Tracie Thoms, Alli Mauzey, and Ryan Lowe, to name a few.

Hm, good question! I'm a very recent convert to musicals (due to that partner of mine we've discussed before, who is a musical genius). Therefore, my favorite musical is Hamilton, since it's the first one I liked, but I know it's cliche.

I also love Oklahoma! since it is close to home.

I'm seeing Anything Goes this fall. I really like Sutton Foster in her role there, but we'll see how I like the whole musical.

I'll have to check out RENT and Cry Baby, now that you mention them!

I love Oklahoma! as well.

It was the first musical that I saw at my high school.

If you want to watch RENT DON'T watch the movie version.

The last show on Broadway was taped, and that's what you want to see. There is probably a YouTube playlist of it, since I've seen a lot of the clips on there.

I have tickets to Merrily We Roll Along in Boston in September. I'm going to make my first attempt at stage dooring.

I'm trying to learn to like Wicked.

I enjoyed seeing the production, and thought the story was very clever, but none of the songs really impressed me.

Everyone else seems to love it, though, so I bought the soundtrack recently and I'm trying to get used to the songs.

I will say that Eden Espinosa is my favourite Elphaba.

Fair points. Defying Gravity was my favorite song, none of the others were that memorable (except Popular). The play is very different from Gregory Maguire's book, which I loved and would recommend to anyone who likes dark fantasy novels.

I just saw Hamilon yesterday and Dear Evan Hansen the day before. I had been listening to both of their soundtracks prior to seeing them and they're just amazing.

Be More Chill and Come From Away are also both really good.

I'll seeing Merrily We Roll Along in a fortnight, at the Huntingdon Theatre in Boston.

Can't WAIT!!

The production has been brought over from London's West End, where it was a smash hit.
