Adarkar Valkyrie and clone cards.

So what happens if I use Adarkar Valkyrie's tap ability on a clone card like for example Copy Artifact
Would Adarkar target the card that it's a copy of and then when it returns to the battlefield revert back to Copy Artifact and therefor I lose my target and get nothing back on the field or?

First, rules questions should be asked in the Q&A. I can't move this to the Q&A, so I'm moving it to BE.
The copy is an individual object. Copy effects don't somehow redirect targeted spells or abilities to another object. Adarkar Valkyrie 's ability will target the permanent that is Copy Artifact , and that object will be returned to the battlefield by the delayed triggered ability. As it is entering, you apply Copy Artifact 's replacement effect and may copy an artifact.
