Hello there everyone.

The strategy here is quite simple. If you know Zur the Enchanter , you've probably already heard about it... It's the classic Empyrial Armor / Necropotence combo. I'll explain it nonetheless :

- Zur is a creature that allows you to put 3 CMC or less enchantments on the field when he attacks.

- Necropotence is basically an enchantment that allows you to put X cards in your hand at the end of your turn, at the price of X life.

- Empyrial Armor is an Aura that gives a creature +X/+X, where X is the number of cards in your hand.

So, step 1 : Get Necropotence on the field. Either be it via Zur , tutors or card draw . Then, when you know you're gonna attack with Zur next turn, pay at least 21 life to draw 21 cards.

Step 2 : the turn after, when you untap with those cards in hand, either cast Empyrial Armor if you've drawn it or put it on the field when you attack with Zur . Then deal 21+ commander damage. Tadaa !

(P.S. Be sure to get/tutor/draw Steel of the Godhead to give Zur unblockable if your opponent has flyers, and lifelink if you have multiple opponents. You won't want to stay at 2-3 life from Necropotence with a couple of ennemies left.)

The rest of the deck is pretty much either ramp , tutors , assuring no maximum hand size or countless amounts of protection ( phasing out Zur , instant-speed leylines , tons of counterspells , giving your enchantments/enchanted creatures shroud , etc.) You get the deal. Anything to get the combo out as quickly as possible, no matter what.

There's also a backup plan with Daybreak Coronet , Battle Mastery , Phyresis and Steel of the Godhead again if things get real wrong (essentially giving Zur +5/+5, infect and double strike.)

Lastly, if you guys have any ideas to get better versions of certain cards to make the deck even faster, I welcome you to! I found a way to win on turn 2 in the perfect scenario, but if there is any way to perfect the deck, I'd be happy to hear about it.

Thanks ! -Jacob
