While Zurgo isn't the best of the commander's to have on your side, don't let him hear you say so. He'll break in you into tiny pieces, my fellow Planeswalkers!

While this deck does infact lack in the sorcery department, it makes up for with brute strength. While Brisela alone is trouble for you opponents, having Nefarox by her side makes it all the better, forcing defenders to sacrifice a creature before they block while your eldrazi angel sits back, keeping you opponents from casting the simplest of spells. But don't ignore Zurgo! Having him come out as early as possible makes opponents focus on him as he charges in every turn. Equiping him with the Whispersilk Cloak and Worldslayer (and if possible Righteous War) will spell the end for your opponents by destroying every other permanent on the field except for Worldslayer and since Zurgo is indestructible during that turn, you have a commander that will just pummel and destroy everything every turn. Delicious!

EDH/Commander is one, if not, my favorite formats of Magic the Gathering. Basing a 100 card deck around one Legendary Creature makes it feel like you have a connection with your Commander. They are your chosen to lead the battle against your opponents which just leads to more flavor you can have to your deck and I find most appealing.

When I looked at Zurgo at a local card store for $1, my first thought was "psshhh he doesn't seem that great of a card to have as my commander" but as I thought about it, I realized how deadly he could be. Using three colors of Magic that I enjoy sounded like a match in heaven. While he hasn't won every game we have played, he certain surprises my friends when the time is right. Was really fun to put together.

I'll probably remove a couple and add in like Sorin Markov because, what's better than knocking an opponent from 40 to 10 early game? Well....just winning I'm sure but I wanted to show it to my fellow players. Any feedback would be appreciated and I thank you for taking time to look over my creation. But remember, Zurgo still doesn't like you!
