My attempt at a competitive Zurgo deck.

• Control mostly through MLD; win with either voltron or Helm combo.

• Crucible and Boros Charm work to break parity with MLD. Leyline of the Void and Rest in Peace shut down your own Crucible but on the other hand win with Helm.

General path for victory:

1. Play stax
2. Cast commander
3. Destroy lands
4. Swing your big dude.

Other notes:

• Not sure about Dark Confidant since there are some things that really hurt to draw in this deck, even though the average CMC is pretty low.

• Price of Glory looks great but I'm not sure how to fit it in.

• I'm concerned that the deck uses life total as a resource a little too liberally for a deck that wants to play an incredibly long game, so I added Batterskull.
