So my partner used to play magic around when it first came out but stopped shortly after. He hears how much I like and am learning Commander, and their interest was "sparked". hehe :P

Anyways, I'm still new myself to commander with only 20ish games under my belt in 2 years. I've been doing some research and I know Zur can be insane and cause people to rage sometimes, however since it's mostly going to be myself and him, I figure that is okay and if friends play with us it will all be in good fun. I wanted to build him a budget version to see if he even likes the format. If not then I got a budget Zur to build up and cause chaos myself hahaha If he does then he can build it up and be Public Enemy #1 when we play :D

Most of what I gathered was through various sources I researched online, with a few of my own cards I got in my collection. Figured I can do more crazy lands later, but this is enough to get him started. Low cmc stuff he can toss our and slow the game enough to set himself up, buff Zur or other creatures for attacks, and introduced the Monarch mechanic as well for a fun twist.

If anyone has some suggestions to make this deck more fun and easy to play please let me know. I know I know, you don't see Sol Ring. It will be added. Soon....ish. lol Thanks in advance for your input!
