Goal of the deck is to create infinite mana through Zirda and Basalt or Grim and pump it through one of several outlets to win. Otherwise the win is through walking balista + Heliod. There are many tutors for ballista within the deck by using ranger captain like effects. This can also search for goblin engineer to find basalt or grim and make infinite mana the next turn. While waiting for combos the plan is to stax and interact as much as possible to prevent your opponents from winning. Combat is an easy way to sway them from going too deep with necro typoe effects and there are several good creatures for combat.
