The Prime Speaker of the Simic Combine Zegana

This is essentially a casual simic combo deck that utilizes the insane draw abilities of Prime Speaker Zegana. No counters. No infinite mana. This one is for fun.

This is my first and favorite EDH deck. Prime Speaker Zegana is amazing and knows how to grow tall. This deck is all about using Zegana's trigger to gain a handsize and use it to throw it at your opponent. This deck tries to break all the rules. It aims to play more than one land per turn and keep it's handsize at a maximum (which is normally infinite). The main combo is to have a creature who's power and toughness = your handsize and to reiterate Zegana's trigger to double your draw for each iteration. This combo with Psychosis Crawler is normally enough life loss to clear a table without a response.

During the first few turns it's all about ramp and putting lands on the field. you want to reach 5-6 mana as quick as possible. There's a few ramp cards in the deck however, i prefer to opt for putting extra lands on the field and fixing your hand to keep them coming. Oracle of Mul Daya is prime for this task, and is often the first creature I look for if gifted with an early Worldly Tutor.

Once you reach 5-6 mana that's when you want to put out Zegana's best friend's. Creatures whose power and toughness equals to your hand-size like Psychosis Crawler or Multani, Maro-Sorcerer. Any creature that gets stronger when you draw, like Chasm Skulker. That works well too. It's also prime to have something like a Spellbook giving you an infinite hand-size right about now because you're about to do what this deck was made for.

Once you play Zegana you'll be able you draw equal to the highest power among creatures you control +1, however if you have out a creature whose p/t = hand-size then it'll be that many cards you're holding plus one. Copy her with Sakashima the Impostor and keep them both on the field or flick her with Deadeye Navigator and give her some spot protection. Then, you'll get all kinds of goodies to win the game with. You can smash your opponents with your massively hand-sized creatures; You can cycle your hand with Whirlpool Rider while Psychosis Crawler is on the field, or you can just draw everything then flash in a well-timed Laboratory Maniac.

If you really get in a bind you can cast wave spells like Evacuation or Coastal Breach and put everything back into their respective owners' hands we she likes to keep things. Recycle waves with the Eternal Witness and keep the field empty just the way you like it. There's a few spot removals that can be reiterated for nasty effects as well like Duplicant and Acidic Slime. There are no counterspells or cyclonic rift in this deck. They are no fun.

Draw cards and bitchslap your opponents with your enormous hands,

Had the deck in storage for a year while I partook in some worldly adventures. I did some quick swaps with a fresh brain.
