Zegana and the Infinite Reflection

Commander / EDH Casual GU (Simic) Multiplayer Ramp

Eshed

Maybeboard

Prime Speaker Zegana; Ramp, draw, play stuff. Now with 20% more shenanigans. At first, I tried to force a Beast tribal theme, but I decided to remove Krosan Warchief and Wirewood Savage. Still needs more work, but it's a fun deck to play. Even if you lose, you'll probably get to do things.

  • Highly Unreliable Win Conditions:

Infinite Reflection or a kicked Rite of Replication targeting; Thunderfoot Baloth, Vigor, Caller of the Pack, or Progenitor Mimic that's a copy of any of the above, or some other juicy target. With Siege Behemoth or Thunderfoot Baloth on the field, a Phyrexian Ingester Rite-Replicated might get you there. If you can cast Ezuri's Predation on a crowded board with Vigor on the battlefield, you're lookin' pretty good.

  • Potential Pitfalls:

Barring timely removal, the deck has problems against flying creatures. Decks with any measure of spot removal, board wipes, or counterspells can give you a headache. So... like, most of them. Good thing I'm not building this to be competitive, but just to play smashy things and neat interactions. The deck basically started as an excuse to play Infinite Reflection. As long as it does Something, I call it a win.
