The game is a Pageant, and you're going to win!

Turn your opponents into squabbling bitches (Bassandra, Battle Seraph, Bident of Thassa, Goblin Diplomats, Curse of the Nightly Hunt , Grand Melee , War's Toll) while you sit behind a wall of style and grace (Sphere of Safety, Crawlspace, Ghostly Prison, Propaganda Windborn Muse, Guardian Seraph , Thunderstaff) Or at the very least, get rewarded for getting attacked with Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs or Isperia, Supreme Judge. Group hug with Alliance of Arms, Tempt with Reflections , Tempt with Vengeance. Win some friends and influence some people with cards like Catch//release, Molten Primordial, Insurrection, Conquering Manticore and Zealous Conscripts, then keep them with Deadeye Navigator and turn them against everyone else. In the end extra combat phases, double striking creatures, and a clear board state will ensure that Zedruu is crowned most ruthless Queen in the game.

Some fun interactions:

Zedruu the Greathearted and/or Djinn of Infinite Deceits and/or Perplexing Chimera + Homeward Path lets you donate stuff you might not want your opponents to keep to them at the end of their turn and then get it back on your turn (though without haste, obviously).

Something that's really nice to tutor up with Plea for Guidance is Archetype of Imagination + Island Sanctuary. Skip your draw step and nothing can attack you that doesn't have islandwalk. You should still be drawing cards though, with Zedruu or any of the other draw options the deck runs.

Also, if you have the mana up you can get a bunch of extra turns with Hellkite Charger and Medomai the Ageless.
